What is a template?

In this case a template is a piece of HTML code which can be used by various image software applications to automatically build a web gallery. It's not a piece of software which is being executed on your computer, instead it's just a bunch of text files which get modified by the image application. Therefore the templates work on any platform, be it a Mac, Windows or Linux system.

All applications come with some standard templates. Depending on the application a template can also be called skin (JAlbum), theme (iView) or style (Photoshop).

Note that only the EOS template is a commercial product, all other templates are free of charge!

Here are some pages to start with...

When you go to an EOS specific page note that the logo will switch from EOS4you.com to EOStemplate.com and an additional navigation menu is shown right above the main text box, right underneath the header part!
